“I don'y normally mind birds, but when they are attempting to nest above a bedroom window and attacking when anyone walks out the front door something has to be done.
i was very skeptical that this would even work, because it seemed so simple, but it was instantly effective, the birds are adament still that this is where they want to lay low but they come check out the soffit, see the nest stop and just fly away. I expect them to keep trying for a few days and hopefully will give up. I got two units as we have a soffit at the side of the house but no sign of birds there yet so keeping it as backup right now. easy to set up accoring to my friend who is not deathly afraid of heights, he opted out of using the screws right now as he didnt want to put any unnecessary holes and damage onto the soffit fascia if it is not needed. but it has been solid with just the strips. worst case is it falls and we screw it in.
